Due to a special request, here's my attempt to translate Maik's latest ice-cream recipe. Berliner Weisse is a special German beer from Berlin.
Ingredient:
- 300g raspberries
- 75g sugar
- 330ml Berliner Weisse
- sparkling wine, dry
Preparation:
Put the Berliner Weisse in the fridge. Wash the raspberries and put them in the juicer (at best one that can make Smoothies). Add the sugar and stirr the mixture until the sugar is melted. Carefully add the Berliner Weisse and mix it with the raspberry- purée. Fill everything in the ice-cream-machine and stirr it for about 45 minutes until it becomes a creamy sorbet. Pour the sorbet into a bowl and leave it in the freezer for another hour.
Give three scoops of the sorbet in a glass and add some sparkling wine if you like (or some additional Berliner Weisse). Enjoy the sorbet! :-)
